CARE is an ambitious organization. We are working hard to raise enough funds to open a donation-based conseling center for Los Angeles youth. Yes, this means we hope to open the doors to a counseling center where clients can see the same counselor--for as many sessions as they want--and pay what they can afford. This would mean that every child and adolescent in Los Angeles would have access to high quality services, regardless of their economic situation.
This goal will only be possible with many generous donations. Yes of course, monetary donations are always appreciated. You can donate quickly and easily on this website. Donations of any amount are very much appreciated.
If you are unable to donate monitarily, there are other opportunities to contribute.
If you are a student working toward attaining a degree in the mental health profession, we ask that you consider donating your skills to the counseling center.
If you are a licensed mental health professional, we ask that you consider donating your time to supervise our counselors and sign off on their hours worked.
If you are an educator of multiculturalism, we ask that you consider donating your time to present your knowledge at one of our panels.
If you have an area of expertise that you think might be beneficial to our organization, please consider contacting us to discuss ways we could work together. We have many volunteer positions available and are still actively recruiting board members.
